They say All good things must come to an end

Expectations

I am in expectation of your revelation
''you don't really care about me."

I am in expectation of your exasperation
as you are forced to realize I'm not here to be had as a prize

Your retaliation and increase aggravation
will eventually rise to the surface

As you prove unable to sway me
from my direction, dedication and purpose

I'm braced for impact
