I LUV FOOD!

a poem on food

I love hamburgers, pizza, and ice cream

Hamburgers with my chicken special extreme,

Eating pizza until I scream,

licking my ice cream watching the baseball team

I love pepper steak, watermelon, and chocolate

pepper steak with my custard doughnut,

eating watermelon until I vomit,

licking my chocolate, while its empty, my cabinet

I love coconut, soup,  and bagels

coconuts with my camels,

eating soup until I'm just fossils,

chewing my bagels riding on turtles

i know it is a really silly poem, and bareley rhymes. just felt like writing this; i was in a good mood. please no hate!

For some reason I read this to the melody of "Rudolph the red nosed raindeer." Lol. Maybe the line and stanza structure did it but good write either way. Made me hunt for some snacks

I think this is a completely zany poem, which works. I actually thought you did well with the rhyming in the first stanza and the second one. Maybe you could make it so that the last stanza had a more cohesive rhyme scheme like the others. The yellow color font is a little hard to see. I also thought it was interesting how the poem began with very plausible situations like "licking my ice cream watching the baseball team" and ended with this crazy fantastical dream "riding on turtles." You could do something just as crazy and change the poem a little bit so that it speaks on drifting between two different realities: the one right before our eyes and the one underneath our noses.

I don't know that last idea was probably a stretch, but I can't wait to see what you do with this poem. Good job! :)
