There is a season to stay

& a season to go

As much as you like the season you are currently in

 the next season

is quickly sliding in

& forcing itself on you

moving the current season behind you

 My season is ending

& a new season is more than an arms length away

 Not that I like leaving the current season behind

 but unfortunately that's going to be my choice soon enough

 I can make the seasons last years in memories

 but sometimes not doing so

 is the wiser choice

Thank You, I wrote this & deleted about 30 people from my fb. It was time for them to go, we never talked, never saw each other, generally had zero in common anymore. Not one has said anything about being gone, so either they don't know or don't care. It was time for change.

Seasons! Yes they are ever changing and when are branch doesn't bend we are in danger of breaking! Such a lovely write. It is so sad when friends move or are just to busy for us anymore. Thanks for sharing!
