Shine

You are unique as the stars

that hang above your head

God created them

& he created you.

Each one spoken over

before placing them

in the heavens above

like he spoke over you

as he placed you on earth.

The stars shine, glimmer & glisten

You sigh, clamour & dis him

Lift up your cares

Lift up your head

Lift open your eyes

Lift open your hands

& raise them up

to the stars above.

Each star that shines

is held where they are

Each tear that falls is

held in a jar

by the same creator.

You sit & cry

while the stars shine

Do you see them?

He sees you.

Just like a star is temporary

don't sit & worry

Lift up your face

Ask God for his grace & mercy

He is wanting you to shine

like the stars in the sky.
