Just Another Word

Just Another Word

A Poem by Jennifer Neuman

Don’t ever say you love me
When you ‘love’ three others too
I refuse to be your little toy
However tempting it sounds
I’ve recently learned
What I knew was true
The lies you spun
From your little web
Have been pulling me closer
And I’ve been losing blood
Over you
And I need to think of myself
For once
And I don’t want to hurt you
But you hurt me
Will the lies that you tell
To not only me
Now it’s gone to my friends
And this can’t go on
I have to be strong
Because this is wrong

Another poem about cheating perhaps?
"Don’t ever say you love me
When you ‘love’ three others too"
You've gone to your friends for help and you've realized that he needs to stop what he's doing because it's wrong. "And I've ben losing blood, Over you" makes me think you cut just to let the pain away for a bit. You realize you need to think of how it's affecting you but you're afraid to hurt him.
Great write. And if I got that wrong then at least I tried!
