Want to be a writer?

What for?
No one reads anymore.
Paperbacks are gone,
Publishing is done.
Poets are extinct,
Save paper and ink.
Why write?

-I promise is not out of spite
And fanancially your advice
I should heed,
But writing isn't a choice,
it's a need.

Writing is a need indeed! Sometimes I wonder same thing, why write if no one reads or even likes what you write. You can't help it though. Whether a keyboard or a pen, you just need to let your thoughts escape and take shape.

This is true, Inda - Paper backs are gone, most people self publish now but that never seem to pick up so what happens to us now? Where do we go from here?

I think all we can do is try to get pur stuff put there; in as many mediums as possible- there's not much choice in the matter i think, but this is the struggle that not just writers, but also artist face.
