Hoping for Flash Stories

Should be sleeping, everyone else is,
Instead I'm writing poems- was hoping for flash stories.
I'm sick of the same night sky
And the same stars,
the planes,
all things that fly.
I swear they mock me,
They've all gathered around to see
A fool stuck on the ground.
The keyboard's click clacketing- a defiant sound.

first you pick on the sunset and call it boring, now you pick on the night sky and the stars.. Dang it.. meanie.. What'd they ever do to you.. Not their fault you feel bored and uninspired.. the inspiration should come from WITHIN, not on "things"..

Defiance is a step, but look inside silly, it is there.... besides, I think it isn't true.. you write so brilliantly that it couldn't be right... so ain't fooling this girl.. nope.. ain't buying what you're selling.. :P

WHat I get from flash stories is sudden bouts of inspiration, which make one feel as if flying, hence your resentment towards things that fly. To me this is about lacking inspiration, :)

You're right, i was trying to do something i hadn't done before, looking around and seeing nothing new kind of frustrated me a bit. :)
