Words You Kept

Words You Kept

A Poem by Inda

There's a moment you regret,
-A misplaced bet.
Some words you kept,
reasons you haven't slept.
tears you've procured,
Such nostalgia you endure!

There's a time and a place
you wish to visit every day.
The moment's gone, past you by,
Let you live, while it died.
You can't go back, can't move foward,
Didn't say I love you- you coward.

Nice poem. I can relate to it , not specifically to the 'saying I love u' part, but to several times when I did not do or say. what I should have said/done. And this is so true for me, 'can't go back , ca;t move forward'.

Thanks for the review, i think many can relate to this in one way or another.
those words you don't say, can come back and haunt you.. you regret those missed opportunities and wonder, what if... if only... especially if it is not telling someone that you love them... another nice emotional write sir...
