Hoping for something...

As I read your words and hold back the tears,
I am reminded of old fears.
You embrace me with your doubts,
heartache, tears and shouts.

I forgive the one I used to blame
And I begin to feel again.
Open up my heart once more,
Don't know what I'm hoping for.

I like the second stanza the best, especially the last line. It feels like you could expand this a little more though--whose words are you reading? Fill it out a little more to really set up the last part. I always enjoy reading your work--very honest.

I love the evolution of this one India.. it is that hope that keeps us sane sometimes.. I feel that last line and the way it ties into the title says it all.. that forgiveness and the opening up and allowing yourself to feel again is the key.. well done!..
