RecollectionA Poem by Ksenia Kazantsevawe've all been there.
I was up late thinking about you.
I couldn't tell you when my mind started to drift, but I took notice when it found you. You really love to linger. I feel the trail of our memories, they left a long mural in the depths of my brain. A knock on that door and I am always welcoming you with open arms. I can hear the faint sound of your voice, muffled as the memory loses focus. It's been a while. I like when you pop up in my mind to show me how much I have grown. My eyes get heavy. What time is it? I briefly wonder how you're doing, what you're doing, who you're doing. I smile. Sending you love and light. Thank you for visiting.
