Death Alone

Death Alone

A Poem by Leanne

I'm falling asleep alone tonight
No one will even notice I've disappeared
Into my bed of dirt and stone
No marking I've even gone below the ground
With the darkness taking my breath away
Until my every breath is gone
The earth crushing my shoulders
And squeezing out my hidden tears
My soul will float away, somewhere far
As my body is left to fend for itself
Just as it drifts into an everlasting rest

wow, very deep. So close to the real thing, I'm wordless. A scene to ever lasting death, for the useless body I'm glad you let your Soul go free. A splendid write, from the first stanza to the last, thank you for sharing it with us. God Bless

About
My name is Leanne. I don't write as much as I once did: perhaps it means that my mental health is a lot better than it was when I did write a lot or that I just have people who I can go to if I need t.. more..
