The Man From Peru

Children's Limerick

There once was a man from Peru.
Who was lost, and very confused.
He asked all around-
but no one in town-
Knew how to get back to Peru.

So he left the town and went West-
because he liked that direction the best.
He made a wrong turn-
and was filled with concern-
because he lost the direction of his quest.

Now his memory wasn't very strong-
and he thought that the turn was wrong.
He thought this much was true-
but everyone else knew-
That he was in Peru all along!!
