Into the unknown

in hushed voices

it’s whispered

it’s the cowards

way out and selfish

they should have stayed

worked it out

asked for help

but who are we

to know or say

perhaps they

are the brave ones

the ones

who choose

'Go or Stay'
MCS,
All of our decisions effect those around us and those we love. What is tragic is when the people left to deal with another's decision which is so hard. This poem left out the reality of the pain so stark which may go on for a lifetime of those left behind. This was something which I was not quite sure what you were writing of but that is how it appeared to me.
