       To be wearing a distant look

              To be bent by responsibility

                     To be saying nothing 

                            To swallow one’s words

                                   To be retreating inward

     To be hearing without reaction

            To be on guard

                   To be wanting without receiving

                           To be standing by the sea

                                   To taste the salt

      To be walking in the surf

              To be carried away

                      To be hoping for more

                              To be dissolved into deep blue

                                      To be one with all
