Tiny Annotations #9 - Insubordination

Tiny Annotations #9 - Insubordination

A Poem by MCS

A man hired to do a task

side by side

with others

Showing promise

f*****g up at times

not able to take direction

Creating busyness

to conceal laziness

bullying to get his way

Shouting to intimidate

resorting to

the silent treatment

Thinking he’s gained control

that he’s got the upper hand

strutting around in smugness

He was issued pay

in lieu of notice

fired on a Friday morning
