Mist

Mist

A Poem by MCS

Slanted across taut canvas

reed brown spills slowly

hanging horizontal and still

suspended and slashed

by white mist

smoldering ochre fog encroaching

iridescent blue greens fading

punctuated by white and black

yellow hues fanned alive

growing hot

crazy random words

strung along, woven tightly

with each brush stroke

in the desire to create

passion on a flat surface
