Spineless

Spineless

A Poem by MCS
"

The most serious failure of leadership is the failure to foresee. ~ Robert K. Greenleaf

"

A hollow figure in a tailored shell

Always afraid, no course in sight

Too timid to take a stance or fight

No compass, no light to guide the way

Just an empty vessel in a suit of display

Mouthing platitudes, vague and thin

Claiming progress, yet stuck within

The sidesteps mount, too much to bear

While truth dissolves into vacant air

The champion of “elbows up” pride

Took one to the face now nowhere to hide

Dropped his pants and bent low for the orange disgrace

All in the hopes of courting favour

what are people afraid of? trump is no more a threat than the 80 year-old school crossing guard!
when will someone anyone stand up and just say in calm manner ... fuk you mr president!
anywhere other than the walls of protection mr doughboy would get his a*s slapped everyday deservedly so!
it will indeed be a red letter day when the old SOB moves into his golden box.

extortion only works when one surrenders

another heart felt commentary thanks
