More to Life

More to Life

A Poem by insanity
"

I think this one truly speaks for itself, enjoy :)

"

Melancholy and oh so trite

My, what a whimsical night

Fearless and fancy free

Punch drunk at half past three

The doors stand aside

With a whisper they glide

Friendly faces appear in the haze

As you sit cross-legged in a daze

Empty half glass

Words cannot pass

As the world begins to spin

A vitriol cocktail has done you in

Quite quick my little muse

Such a clever ruse

A thrash of your wand

Takes us above and beyond

Double double

Shots are trouble

Mind begins to wander

Of strangers you grow fonder

Angels to your left in white

In dresses sinfully tight

Devils to your right

Ready to fulfill your night

Rebels shall revel

Upon another level

With such devilish delight

They’ll end their night

Save the switch
A moan and a twitch

As the zenith is reached

Deviant pleasure is beseeched

As the sun rises in the morn’

A new day is born

Your head is pounding

The night’s events resounding

Riddled in regret

Morally, fiscally in debt

With triviality, you implore

To living, is there more?
