He's not a despicable character.

The dark and cloudy skies
Shield sunlight from his eyes
The seeker sits and hums
His wishes flow like strums

He waits for help that never comes.

I can in some ways relate to your words. Help seems like a luxury at times that some people can never afford. I cherish this short write for that truth.
