Journey Through Life

Everyone is on a treacherous journey through life. Enduring many obstacles, learning from everything. Often people get lost trying to do what appears like the best thing to do.

The mind like a soul's compass, leads you onward.
Guiding you through life in each direction.
Pursue your dreams as it expresses forward.
Steady seeking that desired affection.

As you pay close attention to detail.
Never to lose sight of what your mind holds.
The needle points north on southerly trails.
A fellow to argue your compass is bold.

But deep inside you lays a master force.
Even among iron fields this tool keeps true.
Your heart will push you to the right course.
Accepting this is only bared by very few.

I pray, through me you can soon find your way.
Be brave, hold my hand to the end of days.

Author's Note

Just because facts and reason lead you to believe something doesn't mean that's what is true. I wrote this for a younger friend who is lost and having a hard time finding herself. This was written to be a Shakespearean sonnet, which means it's argues with it's self. Leading you to believe something in the beginning but showing it's real meaning at the end... Much like things in life tend to do.

Yeah .. This's exactly called 'Life' you penned into the poem where love, feelings, memories, pain, joy and then again love make an impact on a Human .. Nice and a very interesting poem. Keep on!
