for someone who committed suicide this past summer...

He died just a while ago, and i knew him
his eyes were  kind, he was charming to a fault,
Hollywood Handsome
was the common description.
no one gets it
why'd he do it?

he had a family that loved him, friends, fans
no one understands, everyone is clueless
i get it
because it's a death i've asked for, for my very self

what drove him to it? who the hell knows
dead is dead, someone said last night.
i wish it was

if he wanted to hurt the people who loved him, it worked.
it was a sickness that overcame him, made him feel desperate.
is he a coward for it, or do others envy him for doing what they can't?

i haven't a clue

all i know is
he's dead now
he kissed the back of my hand when we met
