Wistful

Wistful

A Poem by Jules
"

Response to poetry challenge; MUST use: tavern, surround, glutten, hord, drift, slade, dot, die, reason, mutter, Scheide Limit of 70 words (this is exactly 70)

"

Surrounded by no reason
Glutinous to punish
Alas the Schede is empty
Tho’ dotted with intention

A hidden slade, inside the mind
Where hordes will never wander
The drifts of dreams are piled high
They die, dry up, surrender

The indistinct, the muttering
The thoughts that float and vanish
The inner tavern, doors thrown wide
Ambitions float and perish
