A Ray of Hope

The sky shines bright with hope.
I feel it in your words.
Or at least in my heart.
The feeling is very welcomed.
A blanket to bring warmth in the cold of the night.
I rest easier knowing it’s there.
Even if it can’t protect me from the scary thoughts lurking in the back of my mind.

Thank you. I would love to read it. I think that is one of the best things about writing. Finding out someone was going through something similar to what you are going through. It feels very special when you are reading what your thinking but it has been written by someone else.

I always wake with words after a comforting rest. I know that warm feeling. But now I'm scared to read more....might find those scary lurking thoughts.

Sometimes the scariest thought is finding out you were right all along. In this situation, I felt like an end was coming and it did. The hope was there but maybe that was something I was fabricating. Still, I am one who never loses hope. I think its the only way to live.
