Unjust

Unjust

A Poem by Jackie Clark

Circumfrencing the abnormality of the unjust and cruel mobility,

the motions it takes

figure of speech it all fakes.

One whom journeys along for the ride,

abruptly immense a strain to survive.

Wrenching, steering, longing

for another chance,

to be heard, fight back, or achieve

a once in a lifetime romance.

Short lived, yet seeking approval to live on,

only resurrected by all of its cons.

Another gifted soul has been stolen away.

Unable to meet society's say.

Termination of funds and self proclaim.

When will the surviving remorse once again?

As society is able to live another glorious day in the lights of the fame,

still yet remaining the same.

They are only left to forget the colorful dead.
