Meaning

I had someone I couldn't live without. The thing that haunts me in that sentence is the word had. I've lost him. I'm dead. But not my writing. This poem expresses how I felt and feel about him.

I know, I've realized, I've learned

That without you in my incomplete life

All the beautiful pictures would be burned

And all the long beautiful memories would be slashed by a knife

I am the sheet in music

You are the notes that make me

Without the notes, all will go tragic

Because the notes are what makes people happy

You are the keeper of my heart

The light that leads me on

I hope that you know you play that part

That you love is what keeps me strong

I love you 

That's all I want you to know

You complete my life and heart

I hope, I too, complete yours

Those who have someone special in your life. Don't be overprotective. Take that from me. Please....if you don't wanna lose that person be careful with your actions.
