TGIFA Poem by jane7z
TGIF
I, Dawn, am a junkaholic, and not trying to quit or rather a treasurer seeker a recycler of items that come with memories a purveyor of miscellaneous finds from thrift stores, and garage sales city wide I break for garage sales have caused a few pileups, not! Thank god its friday and summer cause I want to shop cookbooks well worn, stained pages creating savory meals hard used screwdrivers hammer that built laughing tree houses warm hot chocolate throws Lavender, sunflower, coral brightening up my home jewelry someone wore to dance at festivals or hold hands with her sweetheart so many items used like me but not past their expiration date Thank God its Friday time to play seek out those precious finds on warm Summer's day When I die don't pile those treasures around me this fleshly tent will have collapsed take me knickknacks, and backpacks my pictures, plates and books give them away to those who will wonder what memories are brought with them © 2013 jane7zReviews
