The whispering winds
On the shore of a forgotten beach
Seemed to be blowing
Through the thoughts
Of my mind
An image from the past

 

Of a beach
In which
I walked away
From
Under the cast
Of a shadowy sky

 

On a summer night
Long faded
From my memories
And
Those reflections
Of love

 

Yet lately
I have found
That my emotions
Are becoming
A symbol
Of authority
Once again

 

In a state of passion
They seem to be
Unrestrained
And
Lurching forth
Seeking that other
From another

 

They are traveling towards
What some
Might perceive
As an infatuation
That seems
To border
On the edge
Of obsession

 

A deep feeling
Of wanting
To know
And yet
At the same time
A feeling of dread
Runs through my being
Chilling my very soul
Touching my heart
Opening my mind

 

I believe these feelings
Are moving
Into realms of a love
Caused by
Those symbolic sparks
That flow between two people
Where their souls
Are drawn together
Thru their spirits
Becoming one

 

This fate could be
That passion
Of all passions
That moment
When two souls
Merge, together as one
Moreover

 

They start questioning
Such things as the past
To see the present
To view the future
And
What it may
Embrace

 

These ponderings all shall be faced as well as answered, together and alone, in order to appease those tormenting thoughts of a primitive time when love may have failed or infatuation overruled. Either way, similar thoughts run through both our minds and they shall be unearthed together as well as alone.

What an interesting way to present a chapter. Like a free flow of rambling thoughts. I would better describe this as a writing in prose.
