my sister

 When we were younger it was hard,

To say these things to you.
But now that we're older,
This is something I have to do.

I have to say how much it means,
When you call me to say Hey.
Just that one little thing,
Can brighten up my day.

It's nice to finally be close,
And know I can talk to you.
It's fun to just hang out,
And see the things you do.

I'm glad that we are friends,
And that we finally see eye to eye.
Sometimes when I think about it,
I could almost cry.

This is just to say thank you,
For all that you've helped me through.
This is to say, dear sister,
That I will always love you.
