This is just a quick one that carries a lot of weight as the choices and lessons of life mold and shape us.

The experiences that bring

One sorrow and grief

Are hated for always

Wanted never again.

The hurt and the longing

For such times to cease,

Can cover the lessons

That are hidden therein.

 

With each heavy burden

Every tear that falls,

A small seed is planted

Bringing a new chance to begin.

Just as a muscle which is torn all apart,

Grows back stronger and larger.

A heart that has been broken

Isn’t tossed to the wind.

It also will be larger and

Stronger each time it mends.
