Perfect Harmony

Perfect Harmony

A Poem by Jess Rose

The rise and fall of the tide
The rise and set of the sun and moon
Everything working together
In perfect harmony
A flock of birds swerve and dip through the sky
They part perfectly in the air
And reconvene at a tree nearby
Wings beating in unison
Creating designs on the clouds above
In perfect harmony
The wind and rain
Brother and sister
Rain- to refresh the earth
Wind- to cool a hot day
Both working together for the good of all
In perfect harmony
We are all connected
We share this world
And so we must forever be
In perfect harmony
