To hell.

Now I don't resent it,

Because I know he meant it,

But he didn't think it over

For a week sans a/c 

Would have him down on one knee,

Screaming at the heavens,

"Why me?"

I think what Billy said and what you implied he would say is probably true for many - sometimes it is easier to respond in truth to final situations than it is the day to day. I can imagine myself dealing with the two scenarios just as you supposed. -carl

Thanks, Carl. I wrote this one simply as a satire. I have nothing against Billy G. But one of the first reviews was from somebody spouting theology. I don't do well with the unsolicited, religion on the sleeve types.

well, he is a really fine fellow and I think he was just making a comment concerning the fact of Grahams statement. but faith is a difficult subject in the public arena and usually those conversations are best in private unless your speaking in a public venue and your audience is there by choice. Anyway hope it will not prevent any of us from appreciating each other and our efforts on the site. Also the satire was well said and effective as I said in my first review.
