Memory is a Spyglass
A Poem by jdTella
memory is a spyglass through which I see a worn-out photograph where my hand is holding yours on a stray land night is a suitcase in which I keep the outer space open it wide and take with you the galaxy inside time is a snowflake melting down over a patchwork on which we lay looking up for the silver plate day is a sound box of falling sand inside an hourglass turn it around so we go back
to lay on the ground

I love the metaphors here. The stop and go flow makes me think of someone nervously speaking, and needing to stop and think too often. The connection between the four elements of this piece are sort of cloudy, but I think they are all basically the same picture dressed up differently. Great work!
