Cloudy Days

Cloudy Days

A Poem by Joshua McNay
"

I asked a co-worker to give me a topic and I quickly wrote this. Nothing fancy but hope you enjoy!

"
To and fro, the clouds they go
Will it rain or will it snow?
A pleasant question, I like to ask
While I lie on the grass and watch the clouds pass
A simpler joy in life can't be found
Than watching the clouds as they swirl around
Cloudy days are the best to me
sitting back and trying to see
What shape the clouds will be
Oh look a dog, a boat, no a tree!
My imagination goes wild just at the thought
I love the clouds, a clear sky? I think not!
Excuse me while I quietly ponder
The next cloud formation coming from yonder.

I liked this JD
The constant flux of the clouds was well conveyed in the "..dog...boat...tree.." line.
I liked my whimsy with funny and I like the way you serve it.
