Her Story (In Senryu's)A Poem by Riley BrayHint: Read the italicized words with this one.
Morning comes to her,
Sinking into her dreamland And sucking it out. Rays of golden sun Beam through her curtains And slither her way. As warm toes meet the Frozen wood panels, Shivers sing through her. She pads towards the door, Grasping the handle with long Spidery fingers. No familiars Come to greet her as Stairs glare angrily. "Today is the day" She says to herself that dawn The sadness' reign is done. Slowly, she slides down To her knees and lunges straight Hurtling down oak. She has no one left And nothing to hold on to So with that the girl, Is dead.
