Dumpster Child

Dumpster Child

A Poem by Riley Bray
"

They die in the belly of the beast.

"
It isn't just a fetus,
Its a baby.

Its heart beats in her womb,
But she's going crazy.

A child cannot have a child,
In this society anyway.

But how dare you lay a finger on it,
Because they are the ones whose lives have led them astray.

It didn't get to take a breath outside its mothers uterus,
Didn't get to open its tiny little eyes.

Instead it got extracted,
Before it had a chance at life.

Little helpless creatures,
Floating unknowingly in a dangerous woman.

Growing slowly for however long,
A victim to the villain.

Little baby throw away,
The bloody dumpster child.

Never got to live one day,
Even with its murderer mother running wild.
