TraceA Poem by Riley BrayI'll let you leave, if only you stay a short while longer.
For now I'll gather up the moonlight
And illuminate your day. For now I'll gather up the fireflies To dance like flaming stars up in the sky. I will relieve you of your inhibitions, Instead filling you with beauty. And I'll wipe away your sins Instead of letting them bring you down. In return I ask only your forgiveness, And a tiny little speck of stardust So that I may remember you, And under those conditions, I'll let you leave forever, And be gone without a trace.
