KaitlynA Poem by Riley BrayA friend asked me to write something about her...
Stand tall, fellow soldier
Keep your head high, days nigh, And roll with the punches that'll try to steal your light. You gotta be strong when the tides roll in They may try to wash away your pride with wicked sins, They'll try to make you savvy to the pain and the darkness that's within. But hey, girl, that little hello kitty tee May just be the thing That destroys the onslaught of hate with originality. Those rubber band bracelets Wringing your round wrists Shows the strength in your soul as you walk and swing your nice hips. Airy little laughs, beaming smiles, Big brained, strong hearted, You, dearest Kaitlyn, can even break the guarded.
