Dark Matter

Dark Matter

A Poem by Riley Bray
"

~~~
"
Lost she
wandered
around aimlessly
in the blank spaces
and empty rooms
in my mind
The Tormentor of my days
the Incubus of my nights
Until she finally walked into
a room she couldn't escape
There she ultimately
faded away
to nothing
forgotten
Verse lost to time
and the void
of a black hole heart
sucking in
and destroying
all that surrounds
its gaping beating
lump of decaying
dark matter
Inside her chest
she is just as good as dead
and soon her sorrow
will consume her
