Unspoken Words

Unspoken Words

A Poem by Norma J. Jessee

Unspoken Words and feelings

Hanging in the air.

Silence lingering in the darkness,

Loneliness everywhere.

Secret tears keep falling,

Unnoticed through the pain.

Words that you once spoke to me,

Slowly driving me insane.

But we'll continue to close our eyes,

To each others pain and fear,

By leaving words unspoken,

Hanging in the air.

wow, this one is so very powerful. isn't it weird how people just linger in a state of unspoken misery. people living together yet wearing fake happy mask...to appear that all is well.
