Painful Ecstasy

Painful Ecstasy

A Poem by Sumit Kumar Gupta
"

This poem is relevant to love which is compared with loneliness emotion and beautiful weather. I came up with this thought in a monsoon season!

"

Standing on a roof top at a rainy night,

Feels like saying there is a heaven somewhere in this earth,

Not a drop of rain touching my body;

So lonely and romantic night,

My aura following the fragrance of wet mud through,

Top of building feels so close to ground.

Suddenly; everything stops and I am completely soaked in water,

A strong breeze passing through my body,

creasing and tearing the pain of my heart into million pieces.

Cannot stop enjoying this Painful Ecstasy,

Never enjoyed pain so,as much as now;

Now I fear of losing it, will I survive without it?

Every moment my brain gets struck by the same question,

And then this moment being mine does not feel mine;

I was in top of this world but now I feel like crashing,

I suspect my inner emotion and they come bursting out;

Then the breeze stops as if it does not care about me anymore;

The sky was getting clear, And I did not wanted it,

Because I loved it the most, then I heard breeze talking to me,

Saying;I was always yours but I thought you had faith in me;

But I cannot live as a whirly wind,I feel so desolated;

With those fingers pointing on me,

And as he left I was choked with the pain of breath!

Causing me death in peaceful arms of grave!

I landed on heaven and god asked me;

What was the best thing that happened to you?

With the fall of tears on my cheek;

I said its, Love, god; Love...
