'Prayer of a Sinner'

I wondered around in my life
Lost and confused.
I lived a life I could not even be proud of.

But
As I listened to the words.
Little by little.
I was breaking down.
The sins I tried to pretend was not there.
As a tear fell from my eyes.
I felt my guilt.
I felt small
Compaired to all the things I knew I was wrong
But did them anyway.
I dont think I am a bad person.
But I am far from being the person I want to be.

So with complete faith in the lord
I take my next step.
On bending knee I pray.
I repent.
I lay my life in the lord's hands.
I surrender completely

Those were the best lines in the poem in my opinion. It really captures everything else you say around it. Even if you were to take any mention of a god out, this poem would carry itself on those two lines. Great job.
