Final one written for the 'Impress me contest " 50 words or less.

Blasted Words!

 

Nagging more than my dear wife

Blasted words still rule my life

Jumping straight from pen to paper

Blasted words begin to caper

Striving hard to do my best

Words I find are just a pest.

Now I know it’s done at last

Sad am I --- the time has passed.

This was a fun read! I'm right there with KC...I too saw a man tearing out his hair... I suppose its your reference to the nagging wife... what fun we can have as writers. What a creative piece!

Oh! What a fun, silly little romp of a poem. I loved it. Simple, lyrical. And I pictured a man, just beginning to gray, tearing his hair out with the help of the letters that spell blasted. Lol.
