Jenay came to my room today because the voices were being loud and she didn’t like it. We talked about what was going on. I think Charlie is trying to come back Joel. What do you mean? Do you really think it’s him trying to come back? Yeah I do, it’s really faint right now but he’s still there. What do I do? Try to push him away Nae. He can’t come back you remember what happened last time. I know but… I sigh. I don’t know what to do.

I’ve been rocking a lot, the nurses keep coming in to see me like that and then they shove more medicine down my throat. How come they won’t listen to us Nae? I don’t know. Does it even seem like the want to help us? She shakes her head and we both sigh as Alexis walks in. Sissy! Sissy! H-hi. She sits down with us and we look at her. Did the doctors come back? She nods and we all sigh again. More medicine? Yeah, I tried to get away but they strapped me down so I would have to take it. I thought they couldn’t do that anymore. I guess they can. But why it’s not fair. I don’t know. Sissy? Yeah? A-are we ever gonna get out of here? She shrugs. I don’t know. Nae and I both look down and one of the doctors walks in and tells us we have two visitors. We all look up at him and he walks out and we get up. The nurse takes us out and we see Austin and Andi waiting for us. Y-you guys are here…

They nod and smile a little but they hate seeing us all like this. Goes and hugs Austin and Andi first, then I do, then so does Alexis. We all sit with us 3 on the ground and so they sit with us. What have they been doing to help you? N-nothing. A-all they’ve been doing is shoving more medicine down our throats. I thought the medicine made it worse. Didn’t you guys tell them that. Us three nod slowly looking down.

Hey it’s okay. We all look at Austin with tears in our eyes. N-no it’s not bubby. T they make things worse and they won’t listen to us. Austin and Andi sigh. Can you guys just get us out of here please. We can try hun. We sigh. O-okay… We all go hug them both again and just sit there with them. After a little while a nurse comes back saying that they have to go and Alexis, Jenay, and I all start screaming saying no please let them stay!!!!! So the nurses stick us with syringes and take us back to our rooms where we all pass out from the stuff they put into us.

I wake up later and slowly get up and go to open my door and Alexis is there with blood dripping down from her nose. I open the door. S sissy, w-what happened. I-I slipped and fell trying to get away from the nurses. T-they had more medicine didn’t they? She nods and I sigh. W what did we do to deserve this? W-we went crazy… R-right… My nurse walks in and I look up at him. Go away! Leave me alone! He shakes his head and tells me I know that he can’t do that. What do you want then? It’s time for your medicine. No!!! I take off running and the nurse chases after me. Leave me alone! Medicine makes everything worse!! No it doesn’t that’s just what you convinced yourself of. You’re lying leave me alone! I keep running and hide and the nurse runs right past where I am luckily. I decide to go to Jenay’s room since it’s close by so I sneak in.

J-Jenay? What? T the nurse came back… What do you mean? F-for more medicine, b-but he had more than normal… I ran. I thought they couldn’t give us any medicine unless it how much we are supposed to take. I-I don’t know but he had a lot. We see the doctors coming to try give your medicine. Hide me please. Please Jenay. Hide in the closet they never look in there, but be quiet. I run and do and sit in the back of it. Hello doctors. Where is she? She isn’t here. Don’t lie to me Jenay. I-I’m not. I promise. Then why did you stutter? I didn’t s-s-stutter. Yes you did and you just did it again now where is she. Where did she go. I DON’T KNOW. I DON’T KNOW. I DON’T KNOW. Now Jenay you need to calm down please. Charlie!!!! Charlie!!!!! Charlie!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CHARLIE! CHARLIE! CHARLIE! I burst out of the closet. NO JENAY DON’T LET HIM DO THAT. DON’T LET CHARLIE TAKE CONTROL!! I smile….

It’s to late. I slowly back up and the nurse quickly leaves… I’m in a corner now facing you but pressed into the corner. Alexis walks in and sees what’s happening. What’s happening? A Alexis leave please. go… What’s happening? I heard Jenay start screaming Charlie? Oh yes, Hi there. Im Charlie. Its very nice to meet you. Wanna play Hide and Seek? Alexis get out now!!!! I’ll count. You guys go hide. 1….2….3….4…. I grab Alexis and run out of the room with her. G-go hide… v-very, very, very well. Go now. 5…..6…...7…...8…..9…..10 ready or not here I come.

Alexis is gone but I’m still in the hallway. Hello there. Charlie starts running after you. I take off but start yelling at you. JENAY YOU HAVE TO FIGHT HIM. DON’T LET HIM KEEP YOU UNDER HIS CONTROL. YOU ARE STRONGER THAN HE IS. Jenay, you need to calm down. This isn’t how it’s supposed to work. The medication it’s helping you. It should be helping you. You can fight this. Who’s this Jenay? I’m Charlie. Leave my sister alone Charlie!!!! F**k you. I don’t listen to anyone. Leave her alone now. I don’t think I like you anymore.

Charlie grabs the doctor’s syringe. C-Charlie, please stop this. I back away from you. Charlie chases after you. I take off running and when I turn a corner it’s slippery so i slip and slam into the wall. Charlie, stabs the syringe into your neck and injects the medicine and makes you fall asleep. You passed out on the floor and Charlie grabs his ankles dragging you back to the room Jenay stays in. Charlie, please let them go. Let us all go. The doctors walk near Charlie and put a syringe in him and he gets knocked out. They leave and I wake up tied down in my room and I start struggling.

W what’s going on? LET ME OUT!!! Doctor we can’t keep them locked up forever. Let me go!!!!!! I toss, turn, and struggle and soon I start screaming. As, the doctors walk back in Charlie and you are sitting up on the bed talking. Joel? Why do you want me to leave Jenay alone? I do nothing wrong to her. Charlie stop this. You don’t have to keep them or me like this. It’s not for any of us. The doctors see that I’m the one Charlie is most afraid and they ask you, Joel? Why is Charlie living inside Jenay? Doesn’t that hurt Jenay? It doesn’t hurt her. I don’t want to talk to you. Go away. Joel, we need to know how to stop him. We know he is gonna keep coming back, we’ve heard you and Jenay talk about it in your rooms at night. You don’t know anything. All you’re gonna do is shove more medicine down both of our throats. Leave us alone. You guys don’t believe a single thing we say to you. So LEAVE!!!!!!

As the doctor leaves Austin and Andi walk into the asylum. We are here to see Jenay, Joel, and Alexis. We have some stuff for them. A nurse walks to where we are and we all go out to the visiting room. B-bubby, Charlie is back… And h-he is scaring me. Austin holds out his arms to give you a hug and when you go and hug him my voices scream inside my head and I fall to the ground. My plan is working perfectly. CHARLIE LET US GO! THEY HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS. THIS IS OUR FIGHT! W-what’s going on? Austin Andi you guys need to leave. I’ll have the nurse call you guys when it’s safe to come back. But, right now no one can come and visit us… NO. Bubby, don’t leave me… not again. I start screaming and covering my ears and austin gets up and pulls me into his arms. N no bubba… p please… I I don’t want to hurt you…. I’m sorry Austin and Andi you guys will have to leave now. Say your goodbyes. Austin hugs me tightly and so does Andi and they do the same to you as they are leaving they see the doctors make us take more medicine and stick us with syringes so we pass out.

We get back to our rooms and Charlie starts taking control again. C-charlie haven’t we had enough of this? This isn’t even the beginning. L let us g go… Charlie, just remember what happened last time you controled me. You were punished for days by your father. You tried to come back to me so many time but your father wouldn’t let you hurt me. How did you get away from him? Because he was killed! He died and you didn’t even know! I won’t be punished anymore! Father is dead. He died because he was stabbed! He’s gone. and No i didn’t do it. And that for a fact is a lie Charlie, I can see how happy you get when you talk about your father’s death. Maybe it’s true you didn’t kill your father. And you are trying to protect who did so they won’t punish you for telling. But, I’m in this asylum because of you. And when I get out you will be punished maybe not by YOUR FATHER. BUT BY ME. BECAUSE I’M NOT GONNA LET YOU TAKE OVER ME AFTER WE ARE DONE HERE. I hope you realize that since I am in your head. And your doctors can’t see me. They think you’re crazy and you are never getting out of here. Then tell me this Charlie, After all these years in my head. Why this week. Why this week you decide to come and control me. Out of all the other times in the world. You pick this week. What is so special about this week? I have all my powers back and you are going to hear a scream right about now. You hear me scream and when you run to my room I’m on the floor again covering my ears. GET OUT OF MY HEAD LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!!!! GET OUT! GET OUT! GET OUT!!!!!!!!!!!

Stop this nonsense Charlie. She doesn’t deserve it. P please…. Oh yes she does. She deserves it more than you do. I don’t think I like her anymore. She’s going to be staying here for a very, very long time. She doesn’t deserve it. No one deserves it. Well, besides me of course I’m the one who you should be torching not my friends…. She’s done more to me than you have. She got me out of your head and she even figured out a way to talk to Father. So yes. She does deserve this. P please… m make this stop!!! I I’m sorry. I scream again. Charlie please. I’ll take all responsibility for what she did. Please Charlie. No no no that’s not how this works and you know from first hand experience. You know that. Please Charlie. I’ll do anything to make you stop hurting her. She doesn’t deserve it. Yes she does but I will leave her alone for now. Charlie releases my mind but he takes over you. I slowly get up and stumble away from Charlie. Charlie!!! Charlie!!!! Charlie!!!! CHARLIE CHARLIE CHARLIE. He ignores you and starts talking to me. Now then, since I have Jenay under my control once again. You can’t do anything about it. Or you will be under my control as well. L leave her alone! She doesn’t deserve what you are doing to her. Get out of her!

Why, should I get out of her. Last time she went insane when you got me out of her head. You really don’t want that to happen...again do you? Y you’re the one causing her to go insane!!!! Now, I wouldn’t say insane. Screw you Charlie. You need to let her go right now. I’m not gonna do anything you say. Then I will force you out just like I did last time. You and what army? I smile. Don’t you remember Charlie. I did it alone last time because Brayona had to leave. So my army. That’s me. I’m stronger this time Joel. You shouldn’t do it alone if you want me out of her head. You’re forgetting something Charlie. And what is that I’m forgetting. You don’t remember a single thing about me. I know everything about you. Everything. Are you sure I don’t know anything about you Joel. I have been inside Jenay’s head since she was little. And she told you about me in second semester of 7th grade year. Yes she did. But guess what Charlie. Ever since I’ve pushed you out. She told me every tiny detail about you.

Are you sure she told you everything about me or everything about anything anymore. She told me everything. Are you sure? Yes. I’m not so sure. She told me more about you, then she told you about me. That’s a lie. Why do you say that? Because all you do is lie Charlie. It’s all you’ve ever done. I’ve changed haven’t you seen? No Charlie. The most you have done is become a little bit stronger. I hope you remember you are only as strong as Jenay is. Because you are inside her head. The moment she breaks. So do you. Joel, say something, that will hurt me, that’s the way we can break us both. Jenay you break and so do I. Say anything. You are right. If I break so does Charlie and that means you do too, but if it makes all this stop say something that will break me. I sigh. Alright…. Jenay. Everyone you care about. They’re all gonna leave. Me, Alexis, Austin, Andi, all of us. I start screaming and crying. No, they can’t leave. Bubby said they wouldn’t leave me. He said no one would leave me. I fall to the ground because you have broken so, so have I and I break down crying with you. W-what’s happening to me. G goodbye C Charlie. I start screaming too. Alexis walks in and sees us crying on the ground. Y You guys broke didn’t you… Charlie’s gone. Jenay smiles. I did it. We both slowly start to calm down. And I grab your hand. No. We. We did it. We walk out and we see Austin and Andi there waiting for all of us. Andi pull you into a hug and Austin pulls me into one. H he’s gone bubba. W we made him leave. What if he comes back? T then Jenay and I are going to break again. B but if he comes back and takes over me then I-I don’t know what we’re gonna do. I smile. He won’t come back for a while. I can promise that. I look at you. J Jenay. Y-yes? W what if Melissa comes back?

She won’t and neither will, Charlie, Barbara, Mary, Chuck, or Dustin. I look up at Austin and I slowly nod. I love you guys. W we love you too I lay my head on austin’s chest and sigh. A are we ever going to be let out of here bubba? They said they have to run a few more test on all of you guys. Hopefully after that you guys will be let out.. E even after these past few days? Yes they saw how well you guys handle helping each other more than the meetings did. So you guys just have to take a few test for them. Please don’t be bad the next couple of weeks please. We want you guys to come home. W we promise bubba. Thank you. You are welcome. We all smile and say all goodbyes and then Austin and Andi leave. The doctors take us back to my room and we all sit in a circle together on my floor. W We did it. We beat them. T they’re gone. W-we might be leaving soon. Promise me we will have stay good until the test are done and we get to go home. We all nod.
