The Big Brown thing with Strings

Its about a boy and his mother and her surprise for him

Jaden woke up stretching his arms and with a big yawn .
then sat up on the side of the bed putting his slipper's on.
then made his way to the kitchen were his mom already had breakfast on the table .

"Morning mom" said Jaden" Morning" said Mom
"what time is it" ask Jaden "it is 8.00 am" said Mom
"OHH no i am late for school!!"said Jaden "You dont have school today" this is saturday Honey his mom told him "Go get dressed, I have a surprise for you today ! as she waved him out of kitchen.

Jaden came back from his bedroom as his mom finished cleaning the kitchen up from breakfast. "Are we ready to go mom ? I want to see my suprise ! said Jaden

I am finished now, Let's go said Mom as she grabbed her purse off the table and they went out the door

Jaden and his mom got in the car. "We need to buckle up" said Mom and they backed out of the drive way.
In the car Jaden said "What is it mom !!,"What is my surprise!"

"Be calm Jaden you will see "said mom

AS the car pulled in the gravel parking lot Jaden could see tables in rows and people were gather around them.

The tables had items on them that the people were looking at.
"where are we mom?" Jaden asked
Mom said "We are at Flea Market Jaden."
"Flea Market!" he replied with a funny look on his face.

"I don't want to go,"I dont want fleas mom!" said Jaden
His mom laught "Jaden thair are no fleas here That is just the Name,"This is were you can buy things ,some are new and some old somethings are stuff people don't want anymore that someone els wants or needs."

"Are you ready to look at all the different stuff" said his mom
"Yes" said Jaden with a worried look on his face he still wasn't shure about this place called the Flea market .His face took a shape as if to hold his breath a little,as he and his mother started to walk by each table.

Jaden saw tables that had glass's to drink his juice out of and bowls to eat cereal out of, some tables had tools to work in the garden with.

Then Jaden started to smile there were no fleas just a lot of neat stuff to buy.

AS they started at the end of the next row Mom said"thats it! "
"Jaden thats what i hoped i would find for you to day "Said mom.Jaden eyes shifted to the table were his mom was looking.They walk up and look on to the table. There was a Coat that would keep him warm all winter and a red toy truck that he could drive for hours and big brown thing that had strings.

which one is my surprise Jaden thought to him self. Is It the red toy truck ?
Just then his mother asked the lady behind the table as she pointing at the big brown thing with strings "How much is it "? The lady replied ten dollars .
his mother said..."I'll take it" and handed the lady ten dollars. And the Lady handed the Big brown thing with string to Jadens mother.

In the car ride home Jaden ask.. "What is that thing?"
As pointed to the big brown thing with strings in the back seat.
His mother replied.. "That is a guitar with a smile"
"What does it do?"Jaden Asked
"That is the surprise" his mother said and she added "You will have to wait untill we get home."

They arrived at home and his mother carried the guitar in to the house
"now sit on the couch Jaden "His mother said then she sat the guitar in his lap and then took one hand and put it on the thin handle and one hand on the silver strings and his mother told him to run his hand across the strings.

Jaden took his hand and ran it across them
a loud note rang out! ."Did i do that" Jaden said with a surprised look on his face."Do it again" his mother said and Jaden did it again and the notes rang out louder the more he ran his hand across the strings.

His mother started to clap.Then she asked Jaden "Do you like your surprise"

Jaden replied "This is a great surprise,"Better than any toy truck".
And he started to play the silver strings again as he laught and smile
his mother clapped.
