Lost For Words

Lost For Words

A Poem by jenniewren (J.W. Bouwman)

when cinnamon stings my nose,

or glittery sprinkles of tinsel catch my eye...

when feather soft snowflakes gather

on the upturned curve of my nose,

i want to write a poem

a line

a phrase a word

even just a sound

anything

that will draw you nearer

but it just doesn't work

anymore

When the snowflake tumbles slowly on your face,
You see it in anticipation for landing;
Poetry exists in its life, gracefully embracing for collision.
Through eyes to heart, in likeness of its pure existence,
All reasons work, its only time to catch the vision.

Once again, outstanding!
