Scapegoat

Scapegoat

A Poem by Jenny Wren

It's likely that through my solitude

there are perhaps reasons for the lack of jubilance.

Dost I dare blame love?

Folly settlement it may seem.

But as the days go by void of your touch or your look,

I fall ever more slowly in this warp of time.
