A Collector

A Collector

A Poem by Jeff

I am the Wanderer,

The collector of lost dreams.

I carry with me a burden

Of a thousand unspoken ambitions.

With a sack on my back,

And the road ahead,

I search for their owners.

Lost, but not forgotten,

I take care of these desires.

Forgotten is a word for the despaired,

Lost is a word for the innocent.

I instill hope in these minds

With a sense of assurance,

But no promises.

I am the Wanderer,

Have I found your dream?
