Caesorson

Caesorson

A Poem by Jeff
"

A play on the phrase "Veni, Vidi, Vici!"

"

I came across an ocean side,

Gently grazed by the water’s tide.

Polished stones between my toes,

Rubbing away all my woes.

I saw the pair upon the sand,

If my heart could only give me a hand.

Two figures of utter brilliance,

Maybe this will be my chance.

I conquered that demon holding me back,

No longer will I leave a track.

I walk before them in highest esteem,

Lend a smile and begin a dream.

Clever, very clever. Not completely sure I understand it one hundred percent to be completely honest, b ut your structure and choice of words is perfect.
