A Desired Essence

Another poem on hope.

 

Every moment in a person's life is an erupting emotion

Whether it be fear, anxiety, love, hatred, or passion

Any emotion can tear at a person's heart and soul

Good or bad

 

Moments can explode with new feelings

And throw a person completely off course

But there is one essence that keeps a human together

It strengthens even the weakest of our kind

 

It sheds a light toward a new coming

A coming in which all desires can come true

But you must believe that one day

This essence called hope

Will come to you, too
