Unpredictable

Unpredictable

A Poem by jessfoundwonder

The worst is during that turn of your stomach

As tomorrow's mistakes become today's main dish

Heaven's a long ways from hell, but they alike, sometimes

And boy, there is no arguement, that I like you sometimes

You steal my thoughts, I can't unwind you inside out

I've understood intricate people, but you're so inspired

You called me love, love, but we hardly carried words

Nervous kids, we craved desire

So shake off the speed bumps,

Don't let your plans rot

You can't be swept away if you're still tied to the dock

Oh, thank God I was brilliant at tying that knot

I need to find myself in you, before long

I can't help but wonder whatever you're keeping

Just know that the quiet in the air is still deep

I'm leaving the door open wide and welcoming

So I can leave and you can catch me when you're ready
